Step into the unknown at the Like Really Creative Inspiration Salon: Experiments, where experimentation and inspiration meet in the most unexpected ways.
On Thursday, October 9, from 7:30 - 10 PM, the Memphis Library Foundation will host a provocative evening where banned books meet bold bites and beverages. “Cocktails & Conversation: Banned Books Edition" pairs iconic censored works with inspired culinary creations—from Fahrenheit 451's fiery mezcal margarita to The Bluest Eye's soulful lavender lemonade.
Wander through immersive zones like The Censored Lounge, The Banned Book Gallery, and The Liberation Stage, where literature, activism, and artistry collide. Explore why these powerful stories were once silenced—and why they still matter.
All ticket proceeds directly support the Memphis Public Libraries.
