Read, attend, explore! From June 1 to July 31, kids and adults have the opportunity to Explore Memphis through reading.  A Children's Reading Log comes with a map to color for every 100 minutes of reading, teens and adults set their own goals. Bring your logs back when you meet your goals to find out if you win any prizes!

Come to the Cordova Branch for a kickoff to this summer's fun! All kinds of activities including water balloons, glitter frisbees, all you can eat popsicles, and water gun t-shirt painting. (Please bring your own t-shirt)

Summer has only just begun and what better way to enjoy it than with a kick-off to Hollywood Branch's summer reading program!  Games, crafts, giveaways and more on June 8!

Free books, storytimes, and a chance to explore the Memphis Museum of Science and History (MoSH)! Join us for a fun time at MoSH! Storytime will be held from 2PM-3PM in the Circus Exhibit reading area on the second floor.

Commemorating the ending of slavery, join us at the Cordova Branch for the Third Annual Juneteenth Fest. The celebration will include arts, entertainment, and locally made crafts for sale.

Memphis Public Libraries is providing continuing education and lifelong learning classes designed to give people an opportunity to grow in their professional and personal lives. You can take part in four intense weeks of study in various subject areas.

Lions, tigers, bears... and books! Connect Crew will host a family storytime and animal meet and greet program starting Tuesday, June 4 at the Wild Encounter location. The event will take place during the zoo's Free TN Tuesday hours.

Checkers, chess, UNO, Yahtzee! The options are endless for monthly gatherings of the Board Game Club! Teens meet every third Tuesday of the month at the South Branch Library at 3:30 p.m. for the fun.
